How to backup WordPress Database [Step by Step]

Recently WordPress Released new version Called 2.9. It’s really an awesome version of  WordPress.

In this way you can back up any MySQL database. Isn’t great?

The main Question when the new version released everyone tells “Please backup your WordPress Database before update” So Today, I am telling about how to backup WordPress database.

Let’s Start:

  • First login your Hosting Account [CPanel]
  • Under Database>Select phpMyAdmin

  • In left side corner select your WordPress database name like i select my_wordpress_database like picture number 2

  • In the down of the page select>select all file like picture number 3

  • After you select all those file scroll up your mouse and select Export like picture number 4

  • A new window has been drop out under save as file select gzipped mode and press GO like picture number 5

That’s it. Isn’t it simple?

Again, great tutorial with descriptive images. I think it would be a good direction for newbie WP lovers.But Masud here u only showed how to back up a database, i hope on the next post you will show how to upload a backed up databese.
